Reporting directly to the Manager, Customer Service & Experience, the Customer Service Representative is responsible for maintaining a positive exchange between the customer and the company. The Customer Service Representative is a task-oriented, proactive problem solver who works well within a team of functional experts. As a primary point of contact, the Customer Service Representative plays a crucial role in responding to and advocating for our customers, ensuring that loads are delivered on time and that we consistently provide an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities include:
Communicate with customers regarding the movement of their loads, ensuring customers are kept up to date regarding their shipments.
Regularly track and trace customer orders, identifying potential and realized delays in load ETA’s.
Constructively work with other members of the Operations team to rectify any shipment concerns.
Promptly and efficiently respond to customer inquiries, addressing any concerns regarding load complications.
Provide support to other Customer Service staff regarding management of accounts.
Communicate any service concerns to Operations and confirm that appointments are scheduled.
Qualifications & Competencies:
2-3 years of relevant experience in customer service or sales.
Strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong knowledge & experience with MS Office Suite and Teams. Experience with TMW software is considered an asset.
Ability to quickly adapt and approach complex or sensitive issues with tact and diplomacy.
Ability to work efficiently within a group setting.
