Arnold Bros Transport Ltd. is currently recruiting for a Logistics Coordinator. Reporting to the Logistics Supervisor, the Logistics Coordinator is responsible for buying and selling freight, enabling our Operations team to efficiently and cost effectively move equipment and drivers throughout North America, all while ensuring on time deliveries for customers. The Logistics Coordinator is a dedicated and driven sales specialist who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys building strong relationships. Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Engage with external vendors to buy and sell freight.
  • Maintain a list of established and trusted 3rd party carriers.
  • Asses new 3rd party carriers, ensuring that they are compliant with company requirements.
  • Negotiate rates with 3rd party carriers, enabling cost-effective and competitive pricing.
  • Post and source loads on external service provider websites such as Load Link.
  • Source, track, and trace borrowed or exchanged trailers, ensuring expedited return of rented property.

Minimum General Requirements:
  • Minimum of grade 12 with post-secondary education an asset
  • Self-starter with the ability to manage and prioritize the daily responsibilities using multi-tasking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong knowledge & experience with MS Office Suite and Teams. Experience with TMW software is considered an asset
  • Strong customer service focus
  • Exceptional organizational & problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work efficiently within a group setting.
